Next Building
To all that participated in building the Casino and Bank, well done! The buildings and conquest are moving quicker now.

I am still concerned over the number of nubs remaining and the percentage lost. I thought that there was an agreement not to build duplicate buildings (ie: another pub). The characters that I have fighting on TA do not rely on the pubs for anything, so you can guess which side of the fence I fall on. But, until we get the Table block open, we are going to need to come to an agreement on where to build next.

I see no real benefit (at this time) to a Weapons Store or Fortress. I am wondering if we should start on the Palace until something better opens up.

Please post your thoughts here.

This brings me to another thought. I think the majority of lost nubs occurred while we were clearing the first square. There simply wasn't room on the market to store them so some were lost and some were sold. I think that if we run out and there are still buildings to complete that some concession should be made by FoD since the market slot for this item should've been expanded to handle the initial load. (just my thoughts)

thanks,

-B
Hi Beavis,

I agree that there is no use atm in building the weapon store or fotress. However I don't see any point in the palace either (I don't think it opens up any further missions atm or allows houses on ta), it may be the least useful of them all atm.

The pub will help clear further, it is becoming a trek to the first one and from what I've heard there is not another one for a number of squares (5 north). More characters will fight with pub. Given the number of nubs needed for the table surely a pub and its usefulness in allowing more to be collected, by more people, more quickly is the best thing to build next.

If I am unaware of something useful about palace, weapon store, fotress please let me know. I am aware of the no duplicate decision but think the pubs are an exception.

most of us build the casino and bank with no real use to us but to help others ;)

we will have enough nubs to finish everything in the south town even the duplicates. the north town we may not but since they are just duplicates of the duplicates i see no harm.

lets look on a few Facts:
1 new pub: can be used by ppl who cant get mdd's or recovery drinks as fast as some of us can. help them save clicks and ultimately lead to faster clearing.

2. the fort: plus can make weapons on ta. Possible less clicks if you are going to transfer that weapon on ta market. I dont see this being a positive for most ppl.

3.palace:i cant see any use buying your larki home in ta palace but i guess whatever floats your boat.
just a thought, do we happen to know what weps will be sold on TA weapon stores?

if they are different then maybe its worth it. especailly if theres a few higher lv ones. (by this i mean lvs 30-50 who do the mahjority of fighting on there

OK, so far it sounds as if the new Pub is the consensus.

The only reason I mentioned the Palace is the eventually we will be building at least one and we already have a Pub. There is no immediate need or benefit, that I know of, for the Palace. And, as soon as something better comes along, that's where all my stones will be going. So, if another Pub will be that beneficial to conquesting, so be it.

so theres nothing in the weapons stores you cant get cheap anywhere else....
i believe that a weapons store (for now) would be almost entirely pointless, along with the arena and the palace.
i think that the second pub should be built right now, as it will encourage more fighting by lower lvls. this will bring us to the table faster and that seems to be important so this is the direction i will be going.

HOWEVER, that said, if the obvious majority is in favor of another building, i will go with the majority to make sure that we dont unnecesarily lose nubs or shoot ourselves by not working together.
BK
i myself would fight more and clear more, especially where we are tryin to clear, if the pub was closer... it takes too many clicks to move south and back north for me to really want to try to fight north... monty is right, the northern pub should be next
and what is 'the table' and its use?
my building will be going to the pub. no other buildings have any current use, and we will have enough to build all in south city, as has been pointed out. so since the pub is the only building of use, currently, i will build it, even though i will not use it. (same reason i helped with the bank... i don't need it, but some do).

Actually, by the time we get to the table, we will have fought another 60k nubs north, 120k nubs west, as well as around 85k from those going south.

That makes 265k nubs.
Since the space north is forest, there will be no buildings.
The palace has around 130k nubs left, I think, and the pub not much more.

Given that all the other buildings - arena, weapon stores and forteresses have no current interest, and not much interest in the future, we are definately not building them at the moment.

That means that we have the time to build both before we have a new project.

Since the pub will speed things up, it is logical to build it first - the palace will then be finished afterwards.

Trouble :D
the palace is just as useless if not more then the rest ;)
Well, since everything is 'useless' I guess we shouldn't build anything. :|

some ppl get uses out of different things wait until the pub is done then we will talk
can someone inform me what this 'table' is and its use that we are so worried about building?
table = much more huger (notice the extreme bad grammar to emphasize how big it is) than any other building we've built, and is very important. so basically, we need to lose as few nubs as possible so we can get this table built, and not run out.
as for what it actually does, i know very little. there are some who know... some who know a little... and many who don't know anything except that it's important. those who know are most likely those who play the hungarian version because they are further advanced in their game than we are. but i've been informed by reliable sources that when we get to the table, all will be revealed.
--jason
LOL...

isnt that like saying, once you open the box and read the instructions "all will be revealed" ?

Cinder.

>when we get to the table, all will be revealed.
>isnt that like saying, once you open the box and read the instructions "all will be revealed" ?
notice "when we get to the table", not "once the table is built". there's not a lot of use in knowing what it does now, except to know that we need to get to it asap.

>the one who's pretty sure Jasons a politician
nope, i'm not a politician... though lying and making fake promises for a living does sound very appealing.

This reminds me of an organized religion I ran across somewhere once.

Just replace ...
"I’ve been informed by reliable sources that when we get to the table, all will be revealed.

With:

I've been informed by angelic messengers that when we get to heaven, all will be revealed.

All we have to do to get in on the revelation pay-off is:
1.
 Be

good
while we're waiting for the coming of the revelation...(ie: Spend our clicks, our time and our silvers building the
correct
 buildings)
2.
Save
those magic nubs from extinction to be used for a higher purpose when the Revelation comes.
3.
Blindly Believe
in the process as ultimately beneficial for all of us. (But for some more than others, of course.)

I don't suppose that's much more than any other organized religion asks,
so count me in.
I'd like to testify now that I believe in "The Table" completely. My faith in the goodness of "The Table" is unshakable... Even though I have no idea what it is, where it is, when it will appear to us, why it's important, how it will fit into the big picture and who'll eventually benefit from its presence. (It can't be bad to hope that it's me, can it?)

As a matter of fact, today is the first time I've ever heard of "The Table".
No Matter.
Everyone needs something to believe in, so put me down as one of the faithful who is awaiting the Revelation.

In the mean time, I'll try to do my small part. Just tell me where to go and what to do.

Smiles, ;) :D

LOL,

And here I was going to sign up for Scientology. I guess I'll wait for the Church of Tableology.
